Mensa 2

Had TAIN from 9am to 12noon today, after that I went with my classmates to Design. Took us a while to find seats but after finding them, we decided to go to the Library to slack as some of them were going to play Badminton.

I was just gonna wait for the CSC dudes. Got some space in a Cable TV room then Alex came by, followed by the rest of the gang. Then we went off to Mensa 2 for lunch.

In my entire TP life, I've eaten at Mensa a few times? Because the Salad Bar's coleslaw sucks, today that changed.

I had Salad Bar's Dory Fish and it's the best thing ever. I don't have a picture but I'll try to upload one next week.

I rate the dory fish - 9 out of 10. It's even better than Design's Black Pepper Steak.

Work

Working has never been so easy. Waiting for flights and dragging time to slack. Plus free internet.

New Semester

A new semester so I'll try to end my last year with a bang!! Party hard and study smart! Keep my GPA up and enjoy the last of my youth life.

To come to think about it, I kinda regretted not having a steady CCA from year 1, looking at my year 1 friends now, I kinda envy them because they still have another 3 years to enjoy in TP and join CCAs, camps and stuffs.

Well, there's no room for regrets now except to make the most of my last year although I'll probably spend 3 to 4 months outside doing my attachment. I'm still feeling this empty void, like as if I'll just end up with just a diploma at the end of my 3 years.

Thankfully, I became a camp person and made a lot of great friends during my poly life and I really enjoyed it more than my secondary school life. I think the turning point was when I failed my O levels the first time round, there wasn't any scoldings for my parents. What surprised me was that how badly they wanted me to further my studies. I felt damn bad, so I knew I had to think for myself.

Retook my O levels with alot of motivation and although it later died down I still managed to get into a polytechnic.

Can't say that I'm unhappy with my life now. I guess, it's not how exciting your life is but how much you enjoy it right?

I'm very happy that our secondary 5 clique is still meeting up regularly and we enjoy our soccer sessions, mass conversations and meetings. I guess without these guys, I wouldn't even be in where I am right now.

Then the people from C160, competing with each other and encouraging one another was really something that changed me, I slowly became a very meticulous person and demanded alot of quality from work.

And some great people who have influenced me such as Kexian, who totally made me a camp person. Nicholas Cheong, who was my first FA and taught me how to open up. Hakim and Tat Yi, my FA from my first ever FO, they really taught me how should a leader be like.

People from Holqa as well, although I've known each other for less than a month, I can feel that we are damn good friends and we can really talk to each other about anything.

As well as some damn good friends that I have, although we hardly have time to meet up but still we'll always be friends.
