Ghostly Encounter #2

I think I better pour it out before I head out to Genting on Friday.

I don't really believe I have any real ability to feel the paranormal or what but some strange things that had happened to me when I was young.

I always had the same recurring dreams involving one of my family members and me, and I always die in that dream.

I had very bad sleepwalking, once my mum told me that I opened the house door and was about to go out.

Once I woke up in the middle of the night standing on my bed.

Another time was, my brother said that I woke up at night throwing a tantrum until he had to slap me.

My mother did bring me to a medium and it was said that because I liked to sleep with my hand covering my forehead and it somehow disconnected something which led to these kind of things.

Temasek Polytechnic

I had my own fair of accounts, mild but nonetheless chilling.

Every freshmen entering the school would have heard of the infamous design school toilet, but how many actually encounter it?

One day, we as a class went to design for our lunch, I had to go to the toilet behind the canteen, the uni-sex sign toilet. There was a total of 2 doors before you reach the actual toilet, inside, it was extremely quiet and you could hear the sewage system going on. I went about my usual business and was about to leave when I smelt a very strong flowery scent and I swear it wasn't the air freshner.

Another encounter was during camp, the air conditioning was motion sensor so it was kinda hot when it went off. When it was around 5am, it became very cold and I couldn't sleep anymore, then I heard people talking outside so I decided to go and see who was there. When I went out, there wasn't a soul at all. Maybe my mind was playing tricks but I didn't think too much of it.

The last encounter was when I was in the toilet, the IT school toilet only had 2 cubicles on the levels 5 and above. I always go into the first cubicle, once I finished my business and was about to leave, I saw a shadow walked past so I thought someone was going into the next, so I didn't care too much and washed my hands and left.

Went out and saw the rest getting as well, then one of them went into the toilet, I followed in to play play and disturb them. Inside, there was no one else except us. Til now, I don't dare to enter that toilet alone anymore.

Ghostly Encounter #1

I've been reading up on some ghostly stories on the internet recently, reading accounts on forums as well as watchin videos.

These made me recall my own account and I feel like sharing it here.

Alot of people say that when we are young, we can all see and feel it but as life goes on, we get distracted and lost the concentration to feel them anymore. As I grew older, I became more skeptical of these kind of stuffs, til the point I don't really believe anymore but all the encounters would always bring me back down to earth that we are not alone.

Last semester, we had a class chalet Costa Sands and we decided to go into Mangrove Swamp to explore. First night we went, we didn't have any torch and we met another malay group of 10++ and they asked why we didn't go in, we said it was too dark and we didn't have lights, they told us there were lights inside.

They were fricken liars, second night we went in with torches, it was so dark you can't see 5m ahead of you.

When we went in, we entered the side of the infamous swamp tower. It fricking dark, I was with Henry at the front, when I saw the tower, a cold chill went down my spines, I never told anyone this, but the reason I stopped down there was because I felt something, it took me alot to muster up courage to walk on.

Inside wasn't too bad, it felt like normal just that the extreme dark settings can and will set the mind wandering. We took a wrong turn and came out the main road and took a break before going back in.

Just before we reached the midpoint of the second part, the boardwalk had this tree popping up no where and we had to walk around it sort of like. This was the most eerie part, I could have sworn I heard 2 distant screams of a female. The first was faint but the second was really clear, it couldn't have been monkeys, it sounded more human.

After walking about 20m ahead, all of us got shocked, we saw lights in the middle of the boardwalk, and there were people. At first I told they were fishing, then as we approached, I saw that they had some kind of stuffs laid on the ground, I didn't think too much and actually believed they were selling some kind of stuffs.

There was a malay and 3 chinese, the last person of that group was a grandma, the malay was a bomoh on the ground, think he was doing some rituals. But as we walked past, I felt the grandma looking at us and it felt very uneasy.

Our accounts later on tally except for WQ who said he saw only 3 people and their faces were all blurry except for the bomoh who was the most human-like.

The rest all agreed that the 3 other people other than the bomoh were in simple urban clothings with malay's tudong around their face but not worn properly. The bomoh was in traditional malay clothing.

As we left that place, our surroundings became very cold and there was no more sounds of nature.

Your view on yourself:
You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

I can't say I won't agree to that.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.
I wouldn't know until I really had something bad happen to my love.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
I use to believe in love at first sight, but not now I think. I could be lying to myself only.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education:
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
Does that means I'm a bookworm?

The right job for you:
You have many goals and want to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn off your considerable excess energy.
Yea definitely! And the list goes on!

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
Haven't really gone through it, but I feel i've overcome signs of it.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
What?

Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.
This line is kinda true.
